  • What is techandchips?

  • Will this conflict with our equipment maker's service contract?

    We do not modify the equipment itself or rewrite its software. The mechanism sits on the receiving side of the signals and communications the equipment already emits, so your manufacturer warranty and service contract remain intact. Where a judgment call is involved, we also propose the steps for confirming it with the equipment maker in advance.

  • Will our data be used to train AI models?

    No. We do not use your equipment data, drawings, or documents to train our own or any third party's general-purpose models. Where we do use AI, we select services under contract terms that exclude input data from training, and we document in advance which data travels where.

  • Can this be deployed in a closed network with no external connectivity?

    Yes. We can build an entirely on-premises configuration on the premise that your factory network is never opened to the outside. Collection, visibility, and anomaly detection all hold up fully within a closed network. If cloud is used alongside, we decide the scope and route of any data leaving the site with you before design begins.

  • We want to keep our existing Excel workflow — is that possible?

    Yes. We do not assume Excel has to go. The forms your floor already knows can stay as they are while we automate only the data-entry effort — or we keep the Excel output intact and reorganize how the data is held behind it.

  • Will we be able to operate it ourselves after deployment?

    That is what we design toward. Day-to-day operations — changing thresholds, adding dashboards — are set up so your team can complete them, with the screens and written procedures handed over. The scope of in-house operation can widen in stages, so you do not have to take everything on from day one.

  • Can you work inside a cleanroom and follow our entry rules?

    Yes. We plan the work around your rules — entry qualifications, cleanroom garments, restrictions on what can be brought in. To minimize time spent inside the cleanroom, we complete desk-based verification and offline checks beforehand as a matter of course.

  • How far can you accommodate customer security audits and NDAs?

    We accommodate them. NDA execution, limiting who works on site, access rights management, work logging — we operate in a form you can explain to your own customers. Where an audit questionnaire needs answering, we prepare the technical basis for the relevant items.
